Eunice Shinn

Eunice Shinn, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, has made Atlanta, Georgia her home since 1988. She is a graduate of Booker T. Washington Business College, where she earned a degree in Business Administration.  She also attended the University of Alabama.

For 45 years, Eunice has been married to Bishop Michael A. Shinn, Pastor of New World Harvest Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She serves faithfully with her husband, playing an essential role in the ministry. She is the founder and organizer of the Sisters of Strength (SOS) Ministry and serves as the spiritual advisor for both the Ushers’ Ministry and the Mothers’ Ministry of New World Harvest Church. Eunice is the proud mother of one son, Cameron.

Her passions include praying, planning, organizing, cooking, traveling, and providing administrative leadership. She is driven by deep personal connections, steadfast perseverance, and an unwavering dedication to excellence.

Deeply devoted to her community, Eunice has been an active member of the Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows for 35 years. During her tenure, she has served locally as Secretary and President. Statewide she has served as Education Coordinator, Assistant Dean of the Education Department, and currently holds the position of Executive Secretary.  Her exceptional leadership has earned her numerous honors within her church and the Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Organization.

Eunice is committed to being a living example of the sisterhood by bridging the gap through grace, love, and support to her sisters. She seeks to create an atmosphere where every woman feels welcomed, valued, and strengthened as they stand together on the foundation of faith, love, and prayer.

Lady Shinn’s favorite scripture is Colossians 3:23 “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”  Her personal mottos are “start where you are, use what you got to do what you can” and “love is what love does.”
