Mission Statement and Purpose

Mission Statement:

The Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Department of Education, led by the Holy Spirit, seeks to glorify God through the gifts, talents and resources of the ministers’ wives and ministers’ widows who serve in the organization.  The department shall provide courses and workshops designed to educate and equip the sisterhood for a lifetime of learning, leadership, service and worship.  Through learning and fellowship, the membership shall be inspired and challenged to know and experience God through devotion to the calling of being a ministers’ wife or ministers’ widow, to live God’s promises, and to grow in love, unity and fellowship of the sisterhood.

Purpose:

To plan, organize and implement relevant educational opportunities for growth through learning and teaching ministries; to lead the sisterhood in understanding their responsibility as it relates to worshipping, witnessing and learning; and to provide information regarding the work of the MWMW organization.
