Mrs. Marye Ware
Marye Ware was born in Macon, Georgia and currently reside in Powder Springs, Georgia. She is a graduate of Morris Brown College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, and the National Center for Paralegal Training with a Paralegal degree in Criminal Law. She also attended John Marshall Law School, Atlanta Georgia, studying Criminal and Family Law. she now attends the International Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows’ Leadership Academy.
For 27 years Marye was an active member of Zion Baptist Church, Marietta, Georgia, where she served alongside her husband, Assistant Pastor Michael Ware. as a servant leader she held the positions of Vice president of the Mother Board. Sr. Usher President for 13 years. Youth Usher advisor for 15 years. The By-laws and Constitution committee. The Pastor’s Aide committee. And the Pantry committee. In December 2013 God Called Pastor Michael and Lady Marye out of Zion to continue to proclaim his word in the community. They founded Victory Central Baptist Church.
Marye has been a member of the Cobb County Chapter of the Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows, Interdenominational for 30 years. She held the position of Recording Secretary from 1996-2000, and again 2017- 2025. In 2025 she was elected to serve as President of the Cobb County Chapter. Also, in 2025 Marye was selected as the Georgia State Key Lady Queen for the Georgia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows. Marye is faithful, dedicated and committed in service to the Cobb Chapter, GAMWMW, SE Region, and IAMWMW.
Marye has been in the Criminal and Family Law arena, for over 30 years, she currently is employed with the City Of Atlanta Municipal Court, as a Special Assistant Law Clerk to the Honorable Crystal A. Gaines. Her specific job is to make sure the courtroom flows smoothly and justice is served. Marye is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Epsilon Zeta Chapter where she serves as Chaplain and Chairperson of the Courtesy committee. She is very excited about the opportunity God has given her to be a servant.
