Mrs. Marion Hargroves​

​Pastor Marion Rogers Hargrove is appointed as Executive Assistant in the GAMWMW Department of Education (DOE). Her background, experience, qualifications, and skills include currently serving as President of the Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Coalition of Baldwin County and Vicinity since 2019. She accepted God’s call and was licensed and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 1996. Since 2000, she has functioned as Assistant Pastor of the Glenn Mary Baptist Church in Sparta, Georgia and current Pastor of Shivers Grove Community Church in Sparta, Georgia Church since 2019. Additional duties include Parliamentarian and Program Editor/Coordinator for the Hancock Missionary Baptist Association in Sparta, Georgia, for a number of years. She is a former GAMWMW Instructor under Dean Flora Woods’ leadership. Her education consists of an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach, Florida, and Seminary School in Rivera Beach, Florida. She worked for the Health Department of Palm Beach County, Florida, as a HIV Counselor/Data Analyst responsible for sending information to the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia. Pastor Hargrove is a compassionate people-person with leadership capabilities in managing projects, completing assignments, and meeting deadlines well in advance. She’s always willing to help in anyway that she can and is super excited about her new role with GAMWMW DOE.
