Evangelist Dr. Katrina Gore-Gray

Evangelist Dr. Katrina Gore-Gray is the appointed Executive Assistant of the Department of Education.  “For I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). Evangelist Katrina Gray is the daughter of Brother Benjamin and the late Reverend Carolyn Rountree Gore.

Baptized into the Body of Christ early in life she committed to a spiritual life and relationship with GOD. Evangelist Gray praise God for her foundational teaching and the mentoring of her mother and so many others. Evangelist Gray began her mission field at the age of sixteen, serving in the homeless ministry, nursing homes, and outreach mentoring ministry for young people founded by her mother Youth in a Corrupt Society, where she experienced a rich Christian heritage of boldness and compassion for ministry. Dr. Katrina Gray affectionately referred to as “Lady K”, ministry passions rest in, Intercessory Prayer, Praise and Worship, Youth Ministry and Mentorship/Holistic Counseling for all ages. As an ordained, licensed evangelist, she travels aboard spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Professionally, Dr. Katrina Gray draws heavily from her extensive educational background. In 1990 she received her Master Cosmetology License. 1992; she pursued a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, minor in Psychology from Temple University. Furthering her education, she received two Master’s degrees: Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Leadership from Ashford University & Education Specialist in Community Care & Christian Counseling Liberty University. For 30 years, she serves as a teacher, director, Dean, Supervisor in the Public-School system; Higher Education and as Christian Counselor for the State of Georgia. In 2023, she accomplished her ultimate goal receiving her Ph. D in Psychology, with a certification in Parent Education and Family Stabilization from the University of Arizona.

 

She’s a recipient of several counseling certifications of completion with FBI Theology School.  She holds a certification and license with the Georgia board of counselors. Her achievements include recognition in Who’s Who of Professional Women, National Businesswoman Leadership Association, American Psychological Association, Ecclesiastical Mentors for Women in Ministry. She is the author of In His Presences and Co-authors a series of curricula which includes “Pulpit Etiquettes, Effective Evangelism, At the Hands of a Praying Intercessors, she is the progenitor of Daughters of Destiny and Pretty Girls Rock for Christ Outreach Ministry. Dr. Gray is involved and has serves Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows organizations in positions levels—regional, state, and local. In June 2022, Dr. Katrina Gore-Gray was elected as the 16th President of Savannah Interdenominational MWMW, Association. Her heart's desire is to minister to the spouses of ministers, and she firmly feels that she has been called to serve this generation by empowering widows and wives of ministers to serve. A passion for service and love for people Dr. Katrina Gray actively serves at Community Tabernacle of Praise, Inc; New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and is a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Churches under the leadership of her husband Bishop Edward L. Gray, Sr.

 

Beyond the pulpit, she works fulltime and embraces motherhood while positively impacting lives and their families. Evangelist Gray inspires and empowers people to walk in the principles of God. Facing death’s door and many afflictions in her life, she has embraced Gods healing power. Her response to life has been, I shall not die, but live, and

declare the works of the Lord.”
